The Peer Program

The Health and Disability Working Group at the Boston University School of Public Health supports a range of initiatives that expand and promote public health among underserved and at risk populations. The Peer Program is one such initiative, matching people newly diagnosed with HIV/AIDS to those who have been living with the disease and can serve as a source of information, guidance, and emotional support.

The brochure I wrote for the Health and Disability Working Group targets not only HIV positive people seeking support, but health centers and hospitals looking to more effectively serve their HIV positive populations, and the trainers responsible for implementing the Peer Program at different facilities. The piece allows leaders of the Peer Program to reach three distinct audiences with one clear, concise, and flexible piece.
